Joe Davies Heritage Airpark

Discover the rich and diverse aerospace heritage of the city at the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark. This spot features an impressive collection of aircrafts that have been designed, flown, produced and tested at the US Air Force Plant 42, including several retired military aircrafts, an AGM-28 Hound Dog Missile, a B-2 spirit 1/8 scale model and several other parts of different aircrafts. This museum preserves the historical civilian and military aircrafts. Other displays include Northrop X-4, Convair B-58A Hustler, Boeing 747SR-46, Lockheed Starfighter, F-22 Raptor, and several other fighter jets and aircrafts. A must-visit when in Palmdale! Blackbird Airpark

Air Force Flight Test Museum annex is Blackbird Airpark that preserves the rich heritage of military aircrafts of Blackbird family. It is a treat for those who get mesmerized by aviation history. It boasts a finest collection of country’s aircrafts. Included in their unique collection are J57 engine, U-2D spy plane, J58 engine, D-21 drone, an A-12 CIA reconnaissance aircraft and Lockheed SR-71A. People of all ages will be delighted to see the planes and learn about how they move and function.

Dry Town Water Park

In mood for some water fun in the California sun, then make your way over to Dry Town Water Park. The park features a kid’s fun zone with water play activities, fountains and three slides; a lazy river, a splashdown pool and six water slides. It also has a dining area and many swimming pools. It has plenty to keep people of all ages entertained and cool. Little ones will like the water playground that has slides, splash pool, two water cannons and other water devices. Adding more to the excitement and fun, the park also features a Dusty’s Mineshaft Racer that offers visitors a chance to ride into an enclosed tube; spinning, plunging and splashing all the way to the finish line. For leisure seekers, there are lounge chairs where you can relax and soak up some sun. Rancho Vista Golf Course

Set as an oasis in the midst of desert that surrounds it, Rancho Vista Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by Ted Robinson. Desert landscape surrounding the golf course offers a picture-perfect view of the distant mountains. It also features a clubhouse that is used for special occasions and family dinner. After a round of golf, unwind and satisfy your appetite at the restaurant on-site, which also features a terrace offering stunning views of the golf course, desert and beyond.  This place is a delight to a novice or an avid golfer.

Mulligan Family Fun Center

The fun begins the moment you step into Mulligan Family Fun Center. It is an indoor and outdoor amusement center with plethora of activities of all sorts for people of all ages. Activities include a laser tag, a rock-climbing wall, batting cages, a mini-golf, go-karts and video arcades. Drive the go-karts and have exhilarating fun. The Palmdale Amphitheater

Concerts and live music are a big part of the entertainment scene of Palmdale.  A huge list of well-known bands and performers have played here, like The Temptations, The Four Tops, Styx and The Blue Oyster Cult, just to name a few. Hands down, Transplant Brewing Company is one of the best breweries in Palmdale that produces the city’s only craft beers. The vibrant ambience invites patrons to relax, kick back and sip on a variety of craft beers. Some of the best brews are Cucumber Some, Black bayou, Orange Cycle Ale, Palmdale Poppies, and Filbert, to name a few. Brewery tours are available from Thursday to Sunday. The tasting area has a bar with an open-seating space where you can sip on a beer. It also has a diverse food menu to satiate your hunger. The laid-back atmosphere makes everyone feel good whether it’s their first or tenth visit.

Lake Palmdale

Located between the Mount Tenhi base and the San Andreas Fault, Lake Palmdale is an artificial lake that is stocked with plenty of fish for locals to catch. It also features a pier-like dock that stretches about 0.25 miles into the lake.  Sit on the dock with your toes dangling into the water. A picture-perfect lake!
